Why are they all professional girls with web sites? This should be about the ‘real’ amateur not girls who are naturally big and are happy to show it off, not those who remain big because it pays the bills.
Disappointing.
A few girls who participated have no website.
I simply selected by quality of the pictures. The real amateur girls who participated either send me pictures that were too small or too grainy. they could not match the quality that the professional models offered to me.
Sorry that this is disappointing to you. The quality of the end product was most important to me. There still are pages in the calendar that were not professionally produced and still look great.
I agree the calendar does still look great, but being a regular poster on Chubby Parade myself, I feel it a shame that the calendar could not have been completed with ‘real’ BBW girls, considering how many great girls post to the site regularly. But OK, I guess you had to work with what you had. It is a shame though as it’s obvious that if the ‘quality’ of the photos was the most important aspect, it was clear from the beginning who would be able to afford the expense of high quality cameras, photographers, locations and props, etc.
Perhaps a 100% amateur calendar could be next?
Amateur pictures are great for the web. But I doubt that many people would like to hang such a calendar on their wall.
Veronica Vaughn, Vivica Love, Sensuous Eve (is that you?) and Gaining Gabi all sent in pictures that look great but were not professionally produced.
To people that said it should be amature & not “pros”. I may have/had a web site, but my photos when taken are still ‘Amature’. I friend shoots them if not even myself. I don’t have special equipment or lighting. I am a BBW because ‘fate’ made me this way. I do not stay big “to pay the bills”. Guys who talk ot me know I actully try to loose some weight for health reasons. I am glad to be in the calander & plus don’t group everyone in one catagory. OK enough ranting.
First, I would like to say thank you for the opportunity to be in the calendar, its something I have not done before and love the idea. I am not “SE” and do not share those opinions. Although I understand the point of view I agree with JadeRose. I also am a BBW due to “fate”. I have been big my whole life and know that I will never be a skinny girl. I chose to start a website because I enjoy sharing myself with others and I appreciate that they enjoy looking. I take 99.9% of my photos myself and also do not have professional equipment or props or even locations to shoot. Maybe, if the calendar does well and you feel like trying it again next year you could do one with girls who have their own site and those who don’t since there seems to be interest for both? Just a thought. But either way its a fun idea and seems to have generated some interest. Great job

JUST for the record I AM an amateur who shoots with pretty much any camera I can and do not use any professional services. It jstu so happens the image for the calendar was shot in a room with lots of lighting and a canon. Nothing fancy schmancey.
(AND if i was doing this to “pay the bills” i certainly wouldn’t be working a fulltime job!) Hell i don’t even make enoughto PAY a bill! It is moreso fun for me.

This is in Response to comment # 27. I would like firstly thank the admin of Cubby Parade for giving me the opportunity to be part of a beautiful project such as this one! I just wanted to let everyone know that i am a webmodel and a real BBW at that i take pride in my body and love myself enough to show it with my head up high as it wasnt always like that for me and being part of this BBW community has really helped that. Take time to know there gorgeous web girls and you will see that we are real and too have a story. Also would like to point out that half of us girls do not use professional enviroments or anything of the sort the picture that i have in this calender along with all of my pictues are taken by my self timer with a 100 dollar camera from walmart and that background that you see is a sheet posted in my wall. We do what we can to try and be the best and i think that there is nothing wrong with us having a chance just like anybody else. We too are just regular gals!!!
And to the SE comment…. i am not sure why because i have a website i am not a “real bbw”…..kind of confusing. Anyway, the calender looks great and i will be taking a pic with it to post here

Jonas, I just wanted to say.. wow what a great job and as always I can’t believe someone is raining on your parade. Most of us are very Amateurs and do this cause we like to not cause it pays the bills..lol pays the bills.. I never clear expenses. I live in a small rural town no fancy lights etc here. I do most of it myself. LOFAO some people just can’t be grateful. I say good job and don’t lose hope the first time you always lose your ass but as you generate more interest you will sell more. I was very surprised to see myself in the calendar as it was a wonderful surprise to me that my webmaster submitted my photo (just a note; my webmaster has always had my permission to use my photos in anyway as we are partners). WOW, What a great Idea!! I am not a model or anything near to that. I am in fact, a grandmother and mother to one of your beautiful “calendar girls”. These are ssssoooo much in the style of the 40′s and many Hollywood stars and starlets. If it was good enough for Hollywood, it is good for today’s world. Not ALL people are not the same, we come in many sizes, shapes and colors. How nice to see “real world” people and not just the glamor world everyone expects. Teach the world to love everyone, no matter what size, color, or shape. Accept the world and it’s people as they are. These girls are all beautiful in their own way and it takes a lot of courage to “put it all out there”. Congratulations to you and the girls for the great piece of artistic work!!!

I think the calendar is wonderful! If you would like outside help putting it together for next year, I’d love to help. I’m an amateur – meaing I work a full-time job outside of my web-modeling, as well as raise a family and all that other good stuff. I also do some internet work with models on the side purely in a production aspect. let me know if you’d like some unbiased help next year. It would be a shame not to have such a wonderful calender available again!

Good news. I am able to ship the calendars at a reduced rate because the German post dropped its prices on Jan. 1st.
New shipping rates are:
- to Germany: 1,50 EUR (unchanged)
- to Europe, except Germany: 3 EUR (formerly 4,50 EUR)
- all other destinations: 6 EUR (formerly 8 EUR).

I have had to take a personal leave of absence in the adult biz lately.However,I am still around and will be returning in the Fall.To admin:I just want to say I still greatly appreciate all you did. I believe when the economy started going down as bad as it has,all unnecessary purchases took a backseat.But don’t give up hope.I would still like to purchase some calendar stock to put them in my store when I return to ‘work’.As far as ‘SE’ .. don’t have to entertain the negativity of someone who i just jealous.Plain and simple.I have professional photo shoots and I have amateur shots with a digital camera.But never once have I paid for a professional shoot.I do content exchange with pro photographers.I have actually gotten paid myself for one shoot in Nashville,TN.But you don’t have to pay for a professional shoot.There are photographer’s willing to work on content exchanges for different style shoots and for certain models with certain looks they are interested in shooting.On a happier note…Congrats to all the gurls…and I really do hope there will be a 2010 and more to come…

The shipping costs from Germany to the US are just to high.
I had no idea these people would steal photos & not pay or ask permission to use my photos. I’m not sure if any of these girls were paid for being in this calender. HOWEVER, I know I wasn’t…What gives you the right to STEAL photos from a website only to turn around & sell them, when you have no right to.
All the images used in this calendar were sent to me by the models themselves or their webmaster. Each model/webmaster gave me permission to use the image once for the print of this calendar. The images I received were only used for this project and were never used again.
I believe you are an impersonator and troll. The email you used certainly looks like it. I will try to contact Ana Darling to set this straight.
UPDATE: Ana’s site is now defunct. I have removed her image from this website. Other than that, there is not much else for me to do. I recommend Ana to contact her former webmaster.
